But the 49-year-old – who filed for divorce from Olivier Martinez last month – appears to be finally getting her smile back, and is in a far happier place.
The stunning star cut a content and relaxed figure as she enjoyed a leisurely day at a local petting zoo in Los Angeles with her son Maceo, on Monday afternoon.

Halle appeared to be in fantastic spirits as she took various pictures of her two-year-old boy, whom she shares with Olivier.
The Oscar winner - who also has seven-year-old daughter Nahla with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry - is getting into the swing of being a single mother again after the breakup of her marriage to the French actor whom she wed two years ago.
While both Halle and Olivier have filed their own divorce petitions, the former couple are reportedly asking for shared custody of their child.

In announcing their split, the two stars released a joint statement, saying: 'It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce.
'We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son.'
They also added: 'We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children's privacy, as we go through this difficult period.'
